Decurity LLC names new EVP
TAMPA, Florida – Paul Davis of Boston, MA, has been named as a new executive vice president and COO of Decurity LLC. Davis, who prior to joining was the vice president and global program leader for Enterprise Security within Unisys’s Outsourcing Division, Global Outsourcing and Infrastructure Services, joined the executive team to enhance the delivery and operation of IT Security Services to customers, globally.

Davis’ background aligns with Decurity LLC’s strategic vision and mission, “Decurity develops solutions that enable our customers to realize efficient and highly effective security operations frameworks that meet the unique requirements of their organization.” His experience covers a wide range of IT infrastructure disciplines as well as a strong business focus, that when combined with his knowledge of IT security, enables the realization of secure business operations value for our clients, across the world.

Davis is a seasoned IT security executive with a global reputation for building and delivering successful organizations and solutions.  He has more than 20 years of experience solving business security challenges for top global companies, maximizing productivity and revenue, and achieving customer satisfaction while delivering economic value to the organization. He has developed, implemented and managed the delivery of security services to Fortune 100 companies such as General Motors and Dow Chemical. In addition, he has provide security consulting and service service development services to organizations in multiple industries in media, NGO, financial, media and entertainment.

Prior to joining Decurity LLC, Paul Davis was the vice president and program manager for Enterprise Security at Unisys’s GOIS division.  He was responsible for the strategic direction, marketing and global delivery of a Unisys’s managed IT security services.  During his time with Unisys, he developed new strategies and roadmaps for security delivery, worked with Unisys’s client's across the globe and helped build new security operations delivery capabilities.
In 2006, Paul was vice president, Security Solutions at Calence, a national IT networking company providing consulting, product and managed services to companies ranging from emerging Internet businesses to Fortune 100 companies.  During his tenure at Calence, Paul defined their complete portfolio of security solutions and services, revitalized their national security team and provided consulting services to multiple companies on security maturity and process improvement in their business units and data centers.

When Paul worked at EDS Data Systems, he held positions of increasing responsibility during his 14 year tenure.  His last assignments included EDS General Motors (GM) Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and the EDS Dow Chemical Chief Security Officer (CSO)where he was responsible for all aspects of security being delivered by EDS as part of their global outsourcing agreements.
